Artist's Comments

A design.

I honestly don't know what I'm doing with my life.

I've been reading about "fashion models" and how the tall and too-thin girls are supposed to make the clothes look better. I do not understand this. The clothing should make the person look "better" (be something they like, be comfortable in) and it should be designed not for the rare Amazon, but for a person who might actually wear it.

That said, I'm not interested in sweatpants or anything - I'm interested in clothing for human beings and not shitty-looking 15-year-olds who live on diet soda.

And that's another thing : wanting the models to be so young. I would not feel comfortable outfitting a model under the age of 25, unless the clothing was specifically designed for a younger set. I don't think it's appropriate for 16-year-old girls to be held aloft as a sort of physical perfection. I see these models in print ads, and they just look too young to be "attractive".

I totally agree with your rant, actually.

:o Your style. I adore every second of it.

What did you make this with? 'Tis excellent. I love the hair.

And be honored, for this is one of the rare times that I read the entire Artist's Comments section and was quite impressed. :iconohyeplz:

Most of you will never learn, Maybe even watch everything you love burn, So learn from John Lennon, And don't be such a wussy, And give it all away For that Yoko Ono pussy
I completely agree with you!
That being said, this is a wonderful piece of art as well.

What do you mean by not knowing what you're doing with your life? Your art is plenty! :omfg:

You know you wanna see my gallery, dear~
Your rant made my day. I too am sick and tired of seeing too-thin girls that are unrealistically tall modelling when the average size is nothing like what they are. They are what cause girls to turn to eating disorders.

On the actual piece, I really liked the flowyness and the hair. Especially the hair.

[Insert witty quote about life here]

"Part of me suspects that I'm a loser, and the other part of me thinks I'm God Almighty."-John Lennon
I could tell this was going ot be good from the title.

You know, you could be like.. an editorial-er, and illustrate your own .. editorials.

I could not agree more! The twiggy models do nothing for the look clothes and less for the self-esteem of not only the models but the women and girls, in particular, of today.

It is comforting to see another piece, I have missed those lovely hands you draw so well. Oh, by the way, do you ever sell any of your pieces? (If it is too impudent a question, feel entirely free to raise your head and sashay elegantly by.)

I find that the most comforting thing in the world is that I am energy. If the particles I consist of were to encounter their antiparticles, I would become energy. Energy through annihilation.
